Simself Adventures Chapter 2: Work, Work, Work

First Day of Work

It's the first day of work! Unfortunately, Sim Pat didn't sleep well due to the bed's cheap quality. Despite that, he managed to wake up at 7 AM. The carpool is scheduled to arrive at his house one hour later. That's enough time to make breakfast. 

For breakfast, he'll be eating waffles again. His cooking skill is low and this is the only recipe I felt he can prepare without ruining it.

At 8 AM, the carpool arrived to take Sim Me to work. Here's his work outfit.

He'll be riding to work in a Big Lemon. As he progresses in his career, he'll ride in much faster and expensive cars. Have a good day at work!

After work

He headed to the gym to work out for a bit and improve his athletic skill. Afterwards, he came home and started to read a nice novel.

All that reading made Sim Pat really hungry! Time to have dinner! He chose to make autumn salad, another simple recipe and it doesn't require him to cook on the stove!

As Sim Pat finished his last bite of autumn salad, he was getting sleepy. Time for him to go to sleep!

A Burnt Meal

Sim Pat woke up and decided to grab a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

Time for work! Sim Pat changed into his work clothes, got into the carpool, and headed off to work. Hope there's a promotion lined up for him.

Well, there was no promotion, but he got some money. Enough to buy a book!

Here we are at the Divisadero Budget Books bookstore once again! Time to buy a new book!

After buying a new book, Sim Pat sat down at a nearby bench to read today's newspaper. No major news aside from game scores and celebrity gossip.

He finished reading the newspaper and explored the park for a bit. As he explore the park, he came across a seed. He grabbed it and put it in his inventory. There's a chance that Sim Pat will start a garden soon.

Sim Pat was getting hungry, so he headed home and decided to attempt to cook a new recipe, mac and cheese. 

Oh no! It didn't go well! He burnt the mac and cheese! At least he didn't cause a fire.

Looks like he'll have to be autumn salad for dinner instead. No more cooking on the stove for the rest of the day.

"That didn't go so well! Good thing I had an alternative dish to cook hat doesn't involve using the stove," Sim Pat thought to himself.

After the meal, he took a shower and head off to bed.

A Promotion and New Items

"Good morning, Sunset Valley! What good things will you bring to me today?", Sim Pat thought to himself as he woke up.

For breakfast, he's going to have bread and jam, another quick and easy meal.

Once he finished up, the carpool came and took him to work. 

After a great day of work, he got a promotion! He's now a Bed Pan Cleaner! The work hours remain the same (Mondays-Fridays from 9 AM to 3 PM) and he's now paid §22/hour. He also got a new work outfit, which he'll wear when he goes to work the next day.

Not only was he paid his regular salary, but he also got a promotion bonus! Time for some new items! He used the money to buy a new bed, a desk, a desk chair, and a computer.

After buying the new items, Sim Pat went outside to start his garden.

Minutes later, he went to the park to do some fishing.

Wow! He caught himself a nice goldfish!

What a day! He went to bed feeling great about his promotion and the new items he got himself.

That new bed is much comfier than the previous one, so Sim Pat should get a good night's sleep!
